Half of your education comes in the classroom, and the other half comes from what you do outside the classroom. And yeah, some of that means studying and working on class projects in groups etc. But the 50% that you don't think about is when you go to see programs and events on campus that help you learn about other cultures, different forms of music, see theater, dance, films, lectures on topics that broaden your thoughts about the world and expand your mind. Being involved in a campus job can help you learn about working in teams, tolerating differences, being on time, getting organized and producing a quality product. And... clubs and organizations provide an opportunity to... meet and make new friends, learn how to run a meeting, what it means to delegate, hold others accountable, and generally build a resume. Learn how to be a member of a community and a citizen by voting and looking out for others around you and our environment. You see, that is what a Student Center is all about... the whole person!
